Mia Benedict is a master facilitator, executive coach, and communications consultant specializing in assisting organizations undergoing significant change. She has spent 25 years in the corporate, non-profit, and public sectors in internal leadership and external consulting roles. She has successfully managed readiness, rollout and reinforcement change programs for small IPOs to large global Fortune 100 companies and government agencies. Her ability to think from the perspective of both staff and leadership helps her assist internal teams become powerful forces during change.

In the commercial space Mia has supported a number of large and diverse companies across multiple industries. For example, healthcare industry clients include Kaiser Permanente, Aetna, Phillips Medical, Stryker Medical, Eclipsys, Genentech, Tyco, UpJohn and assorted Hospital groups. Technology and communication clients include Cisco, VeriSign, AT&T, Lucent, Eclipsys, and Kronos. Banking clients include Wells Fargo and Bank of America, and insurance clients include Standard Insurance, Fireman’s Fund, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In the public sector, Mia has experience working with regulated and deregulated agencies conducting mandate reviews, strategic planning, and communication projects. Clients included the California Energy Commission, Department of Agriculture, State Teachers Retirement System, and various Boards and Bureaus. Mia’s focus has been ensuring mandates are met and making recommendations related to improving capability to do so. Mia has also worked with non-profit charitable foundations in procuring corporate and celebrity sponsorship. Her skill in bringing diverse stakeholders together and creating change mechanisms that align with the nuances of the public sector have been a key to her success.

Ms. Benedict holds a BS degree in Economics with an emphasis in Healthcare from UCLA. She has completed executive programs in Decision Science through the Wharton School of Management, and Health Economics through the University of London. She has served in best practice cross industry committees on communication and change, speaking to organizations on effective internal and external communications.
